The annual trip brought together winning Travel Counsellors from the company’s annual Conference, as well as top performers running a diverse range of businesses, from established corporate and leisure specialists to newer entrepreneurs, creating the chance to celebrate success while sharing ideas and building first-hand destination knowledge.
Based at The Chedi Muscat, the trip combined recognition and peer connection with an immersive experience of Oman’s luxury, culture and landscapes. The group visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and Muttrah Souk, enjoyed lunch among the palms at Abood’s Organic Farm and travelled into the Wahiba Sands for an overnight stay at Canvas Club, complete with a traditional desert dinner and stargazing beneath the night sky.
Nat Adams, Gold Travel Counsellor, said: “I’m still on a high from the trip and telling everyone who will listen how amazing Oman is. Experiencing the destination first-hand gave me so much to bring back into conversations with my customers, from the incredible hotels and landscapes to the culture and warmth of the people.
“What made it even more special was sharing the experience with such a brilliant group of Travel Counsellors. We all run our businesses differently, so having that time together to swap ideas, learn from each other and celebrate what we’ve achieved was incredibly valuable. I feel very lucky to have been part of it.”
The trip also reflected Travel Counsellors’ focus on building long-term relationships with partners who can help its business owners deliver distinctive, high-quality experiences for their customers.
Deepak Menon, Director of Sales & Marketing at The Chedi Muscat, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the Travel Counsellors group to The Chedi Muscat. We greatly value the partnership we have built with Travel Counsellors and were delighted to play a part in making this special trip such a success. We look forward to welcoming the Travel Counsellors community back to Oman in the future.”
