The route officially launched on 4 August 2026, with flights operating every Tuesday and Friday between Glasgow Airport and Malta. Interest in Malta among Scottish travellers continues to grow, with easyJet's new service joining Ryanair and Jet2 in operating direct flights on the Glasgow-Malta route.

Return fares start from £70, and visitors can also book a package deal via easyJet holidays, with prices starting from £239 pp, depending on dates and availability.
