Responsible Travel has announced its £200 cash booking gift for agents is "here to stay".

Initially launched as an introductory incentive for the company’s new agents hub, the reward scheme is now set to continue.

It means that for every booking made via the hub, which features a growing collection of of more than 1,000 hand-picked and screened holidays, agents receive a £200 cash bonus, in addition to 10% commission and a free gift.

Nearly all of Responsible Travel’s 6,000 holidays are trade bookable. However, only its dedicated agents hub collection includes the higher 10% commission rate and £200 reward.

Responsible Travel Co-Director Tim Williamson said: “Agents go above and beyond for their customers every day and we want to support them however we can. Our new rewards scheme is part of that – it’s had a great response, and it feels right to continue it.

"We’ve also taken the step of introducing a dedicated agents support team, who are on hand to offer information and advice. The hub is a great one-stop shop for agents – offering exceptional holidays, knowledgeable staff support and direct access to our trusted partners around the world who create and run these incredible experiences.”

Responsible Travel has also added new cultural holidays to Africa following a 46% year-on-year uptick in small group enquiries. Egypt enquiries have also overtaken those for Botswana, with requests for Nile cruises outstripping the Okavango Delta.

Our most-enquired about African countries over the last 12 months have been Morocco, followed by Egypt and Botswana – all of which are available in the hub.
