Perfect packages for vow-renewals in Mexico, Cyprus and Jamaica
For couples who want to celebrate a love that has deepened over the years, suggest a vow renewal ceremony in a romantic setting.
These three new packages enable clients to say ’I do’ all over again.
The family-friendly option
Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa
“For many couples, a renewal of vows allows them the chance to relive their big day with children and even grandchildren,” says Malcolm Davies, product destination manager for Funway Holidays.
For clients with children, Davies recommends AMResorts’ family-oriented Dreams Resorts & Spas, and the new Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa.
The resort, which opens in December, has a Dream Ever After Renewal of Vows package that is complimentary for the couple when booking at least five nights in a higher room category.
It includes dining for the evening of the ceremony, a romantic turndown service and an anniversary package or breakfast in bed.

The adults-only hotel
Amavi Hotel, Paphos
Planet Weddings’ new 2020 brochure will feature the five-star Amavi Hotel in Paphos, which opened earlier this year.
“As an adults-only venue, the Amavi will be popular for both weddings and vow renewals,” says Mathilde Robert, managing director for Planet Weddings.
She adds that Cyprus is a great choice for agents to consider for vow renewals.
“As an island with year-round good weather and resort hotels offering great locations and natural beauty spots, couples have a great choice.”
At Amavi, clients can pick from two ceremony venues: the Selene Terrace, looking out to sea and across the property’s gardens, and the rooftop Immenso Celestial Terrace, which boasts sea views. Both venues can accommodate up to 20 guests each.
The classic resort
Montego Bay
Earlier this year, Sandals’ wedding offering was rebranded to Sandals Customisable Weddings and Beaches Customisable Weddings. From $300, or for free when booking five rooms or more, the Retie the Knot packages include a ceremony, reception and romantic elements such as breakfast in bed with mimosas and a couple’s dinner.
Clients can also add elements from 10 of Sandals’ Customisable Wedding Inspirations, at an extra cost.
At Sandals Montego Bay, couples can re-tie the knot at the new Over-the-Water Serenity Wedding Chapel, which features panoramic water views and a glass-floor aisle.
The venue is bookable at an additional cost of $750.

Funway Holidays offers seven nights at the all-inclusive Dreams Vista Cancun Resort & Spa in Mexico from £1,705pp, including vow renewal package and flights, based on two sharing, departing 16 January 2020.

Planet Weddings’ Vow Renewal packages start from £770 for UK admin plus the ceremony, venue and wedding coordinator in-resort.
Book it - Sandals Montego Bay
A seven-night stay for two at Sandals Montego Bay in a Caribbean Deluxe Room costs from £1,749pp, including all-inclusive accommodation and resort transfers.
Price is valid for travel on 22 September 2020.
