TTG Nexus is a brand-new agent-hosted event, where you'll be able to meet one-to-one with up to 100 leading suppliers from across the hotel, cruise, destination and aviation landscape, as well as a range of other products and services that make up the world of travel. 

All exhibitors will have private booths for more focused meeting time, so you get to have quality conversations about what matters to you, your business and your clients.

The application & vetting process

Events such as this thrive when the right kinds of agents and suppliers come together to create and nurture long-lasting relationships that benefit everyone – most importantly, your shared clients. With this in mind, Black Book will be focused on hand-selecting agents to attend based on some key business criteria which must be met. 

There are places for just 150 travel agents from across the UK & Ireland, so only the most relevant, engaged and inspiring will be selected.

  • Each applicant will be closely vetted to ensure the highest quality of business opportunity on both sides
  • Drawing upon benchmarking data from our TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies research, we will consider annual turnover and average booking value, alongside longevity in the market, as well as evidence of year-on-year growth and clear future ambitions
  • We will work closely with homeworking and consortia head offices to ensure their most relevant and ambitious agents attend, and to verify applicants from their organisation, particularly if applicants are newer to travel
  • We anticipate at least two-thirds of agent delegates will be home-based agents, while up to a third will be high street owners/managers who actively sell

What happens next 

First, you will need to share a detailed business profile and will be vetted based on information provided in order to ensure meaningful meetings for all. Following your online application being submitted, which will include two references, you will be notified within 30 working days whether you have been successful. 

You will then become part of the Nexus community and over the coming months, you will receive inspiring content, details of selected exhibitors, stories about your fellow attending agents and details of conference sessions. 

From mid February, you'll be enrolled onto the sophisticated Nexus meeting scheduling platform, whereby you can start to create your personalised two-day schedule by selecting the partners you wish to meet with and the content sessions you would prefer to attend.

Attending agents will be hosted at hotels across Birmingham for a minimum of one night (22 April), ensuring ease of access for your two days at Nexus.
