Exclusively for the use of hotel guests and open daily from 10am-8pm, the pool, designed in partnership with Marrakech architectural studio Trab Design, offers a tranquil place to swim, cool off and unwind above the city.
A generous size for a rooftop pool in the heart of the city, guests can also make use of the inviting lounging and dining spaces that surround it, while enjoying sweeping views looking out towards Morocco’s famed Atlas Mountains.
Sitting harmoniously within the rooftop’s existing design, the pool is lined with traditional zellige tiles that complement the warm clay and terracotta tones of the surrounding terrace. Grey beneath the surface, the tiles take on a delicate blue tone when viewed through the water.
A refreshing alcohol-free drinks menu has been specially created for guests to enjoy poolside. Highlights include the Dar Al Dall Sunrise, made with orange juice, sparkling water and saffron, a Hugo Spritz with elderflower, lemon and mint, Hibiscus Lemonade with honey and hibiscus flowers, and a crisp Ginger Lemonade, as well as a selection of traditional Moroccan teas, including blends from The Moroccan Botanist.
Poolside service will focus on refreshments, while guests wishing to dine can move across to the adjacent terrace.
ABOUT DAR AL DALL
Located in the oldest part of Marrakech's bustling medina, Dar al Dall, meaning ‘House of Shadows’ is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. Designed in collaboration with Barcelona-based interior designer Recdi8, and Marrakech architectural firm Trab Design, the five bedroom hotel, which holds a Michelin Key, features a serene Charbagh courtyard with central fountain, rooftop terrace, hammam spa, dining room, and a communal kitchen pantry where guests can find an onsite chef creating a fusion of Spanish and Northern African cuisine using local delicacies.
The restoration, which was completed in 2024, carefully preserved the property's grandeur and legacy whilst weaving in a new narrative that both celebrates its rich heritage and embraces contemporary aesthetics.
