In an exciting development, Air France has announced that it will debut three weekly flights from Paris's Charles de Gaulle to Nashville's BNA starting on the 14th May, 2027, showcasing the airports commitment to expand its international connections.
This new route will be flown using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, with three weekly flights each. As a tribute to Dolly Parton, an iconic country music figure closely associated with Nashville, flights between Paris and the city will carry the flight number AF046 – a nod to 1946, the year the artist was born. Air France will be the only airline to operate nonstop flights from Paris to these two destinations, as well as the only airline to serve Nashville from continental Europe.
Deana Ivey, President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, commented: "International travel has been an important growth market for Nashville, and we’ve spent nearly a decade building interest in Music City among travellers from France. This new nonstop flight from Paris opens the door to even more visitors from across Europe.
"International travellers are especially valuable to our tourism economy because they tend to stay longer and spend more while they’re here. And we know Nashville has so much of what they’re looking for, from incredible live music and great food to warm hospitality and authentic experiences they can’t find anywhere else."
It comes after a hugely successful period of tourism for Nashville, following the announcement of non-stop flight routes to Reykjavik, Iceland with Icelandair and Dublin, Ireland with Aer Lingus in 2024. Additionally, last year saw passengers to BNA up 4.6% YOY, and passenger demand expanding by 30% since 2015. With France placed as Nashville’s 9th largest market in 2025, it presents an exciting opportunity for Music City to expand its European connections further.
