Internova Travel Group has strengthened its global airline and destination partnerships through an exclusive leadership experience across Riyadh and AlUla. Senior leaders from its UK luxury, corporate and MICE brands joined British Airways and Discover Saudi to gain first-hand insight into one of the world’s fastest-growing travel markets.
The invitation-only programme demonstrated how Internova works with leading airlines and tourism authorities to provide advisors with early access, in-market knowledge and premium product understanding. Participants included representatives from Global Travel Collection, ALTOUR, Internova’s airline relations team and British Airways.
The programme began in Riyadh and Diriyah, where delegates experienced Saudi hospitality and explored the capital’s blend of heritage and modern development. Meetings with tourism and aviation officials offered insight into Saudi Arabia’s long-term tourism and events strategy under Vision 2030.
The group then travelled to AlUla, an emerging luxury cultural destination and home to UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Highlights included stays at Our Habitas, tours of AlUla Old Town and the Al Jadidah Arts District, visits to Elephant Rock, and exclusive access to the ancient city of Hegra.
The journey positioned Saudi Arabia as a business-ready, premium destination supported by expanding air connectivity, hospitality investment and government backing. Internova leaders emphasised the importance of first-hand destination experience in supporting advisors selling high-value travel.
