Delta Air Lines has unveiled the next era of Delta One, marking its largest investment and most comprehensive redesign of its premium onboard experience in nearly 30 years.
The refreshed experience focuses on dining, hospitality and rest, with new menus, premium drinks, enhanced tableware and greater personalisation for passengers. Highlights include a new Wagyu beef burger, regionally inspired dishes such as Hong Kong-style sea bass, and a refreshed dessert offering featuring a dairy-free sorbet that can be paired with Champagne Taittinger.
The enhanced beverage programme includes 13 wines from 11 wineries, selected in partnership with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson and SkyMiles members. The selection features renowned Napa Valley labels, including Silver Oak, alongside an expanded Champagne Taittinger partnership. Delta One will also welcome Blanton’s single-barrel bourbon from 1 December, while DASSAI 45 sake will be served on flights to and from Tokyo-Haneda from 3 November.
Further updates include expanded meal pre-selection, allowing passengers to choose their entrée up to 18 hours before departure, new Hugo Spritz and Paloma cocktails and mocktails, refreshed Missoni amenity kits, an additional Missoni pillow on Delta One routes, and the return of Bombas comfort socks on select flights.
The refreshed service will launch first on transoceanic Delta One routes departing Los Angeles this autumn, before expanding across Delta’s global network in early 2027. The rollout forms part of the airline’s wider investment in premium travel, building on more than $1 billion invested in its fleet.
