Fairmont Southampton, Bermuda, will open Palmetto Beach Club on Thursday 13 August, marking the first chapter in the resort’s highly anticipated return and the first opportunity for members, residents and visitors to experience the property once again.
Set along Bermuda’s iconic South Shore, Palmetto Beach Club has been designed as Fairmont Southampton’s signature beachfront destination, combining relaxed coastal luxury with Bermudian hospitality. The opening marks the first completed guest experience ahead of the resort’s full reopening later this year.
The new beach club will offer an oceanfront infinity pool, private cabanas, dedicated beach service and The Grill, an all-day restaurant. Guests can also enjoy handcrafted cocktails, wellness programming, live entertainment and an expansive event lawn, creating a destination designed to transition from relaxed beach days into evenings overlooking the Atlantic.
Palmetto Beach Club was developed by Paris Society Consulting, Ennismore’s in-house food and beverage studio, bringing international hospitality expertise together with a design and atmosphere rooted in Bermuda’s character.
“The opening of Palmetto Beach Club is more than the launch of a new destination – it’s the moment we begin welcoming guests back to Fairmont Southampton,” said Kiaran MacDonald, Regional Vice President and General Manager. “It’s an incredibly proud milestone for our entire team and an exciting moment to once again welcome both returning and first-time guests.”
As Fairmont Southampton continues its return, the resort is embracing a renewed vision: The Rising Heartbeat of Bermuda, celebrating the island’s people, culture and community while creating experiences that connect guests with the authentic spirit of Bermuda.
Palmetto Beach Club represents the first step in the resort’s transformation and offers a preview of the next era of one of Bermuda’s most iconic hospitality destinations.
