Salzburger Land, Austria – 3 August 2026 – Hotel Lurzerhof has reopened following an extensive €10 million transformation, unveiling a spectacular adults-only rooftop wellness sanctuary where a 20-metre infinity pool appears to float above the surrounding Radstadter Tauern mountains.

Representing the most ambitious development in the resort’s history, the expansion has added a new fourth floor dedicated to luxury accommodation and a fifth-floor adults-only wellness level, alongside significant enhancements to the hotel’s existing spa. The completed development brings Hotel Lurzerhof’s spa facilities to 4,500m² and establishes the resort as one of Austria’s most exciting new wellness destinations.

To celebrate the reopening, guests can save 15% on a minimum four-night stay in one of the newly launched Sky Suites between 27 August and 22 October 2026. The Sky Suite Reopening Offer is priced at €1,368 per person, based on two sharing, representing a saving of €241 per person on the original price of €1,609.

The offer includes Gourmet Pension Premium board throughout the stay, a sparkling welcome and handmade chocolates in the suite, a complimentary first minibar, a €100 spa treatment voucher per suite, and early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability.

The new fourth floor introduces six luxury suites and two additional rooms, increasing the resort’s accommodation offering to 68 rooms and suites. Designed in a contemporary alpine style, the new accommodation combines floor-to-ceiling mountain views, expansive terraces and spa-inspired interiors.

Selected Sky Suites feature private panorama saunas, outdoor whirlpools and dedicated wellness spaces, creating an elevated mountain retreat for couples, families and groups.

Above, the entirely new fifth floor is dedicated to adults-only wellbeing. Spanning approximately 900m², the new wellness sanctuary offers uninterrupted views across the Radstadter Tauern mountains and is centred around a spectacular 20-metre cantilevered outdoor infinity pool that appears to float above the alpine landscape.
