Building on initiatives introduced in previous years, the resort is providing complimentary breast cancer screening for women colleagues aged 40 and above.
The programme begins with an initial medical consultation and, where medically required, includes mammography and ultrasound examinations. Women colleagues experiencing unusual symptoms can also receive an assessment and appropriate medical guidance.
Jacques Claudel, General Manager of Mazagan Beach and Golf Resort, said: “The well-being of our colleagues is an integral part of our values at Mazagan.
"During Breast Awareness Month, our commitment goes beyond raising awareness; it is also means helping our women colleagues access to the information, medical guidance and preventive screening that can encourage timely action.
"Early detection can make a huge difference, and we believe in fostering a workplace culture where health awareness, prevention and personal well-being are actively encouraged.”
Throughout October, Mazagan is also running digital and on-site awareness initiatives to encourage women colleagues to take an active role in their health, understand the importance of regular screening and seek medical advice when they notice unusual changes or symptoms.
This awareness can also extend beyond the resort, as colleagues share it with their families and wider communities, helping spread the message about breast cancer prevention and early detection.
Through these ongoing efforts, Mazagan Beach and Golf Resort continues to promote a supportive workplace environment and a proactive approach to health and well-being. By maintaining breast cancer awareness as an annual priority, the resort aims to keep the importance of prevention and early detection firmly in focus.
