Presenting the Reuben’s team with a cheque for £8,594, TIPTO celebrates the generous charitable efforts of its team, its supplier members and every one of its agent friends who all gave generously at roadshow and SuperShow events, via charity raffles, and one-off cash contributions via TIPTO’s text donation service.
TIPTO has supported Reuben’s Retreat since 2012 and the team is proud to have a running fundraising total of more than £43,866, which supports the charity’s continued dedication to families that have lost a child and families that face an uncertain future, with their child or children living with medical complexities.
Reuben’s is currently supporting more than 800 individuals from across the UK and 100% of the funds raised will be used in the continued support of these families to include the provision of 15 stalwart initiatives, seasonal events, bespoke activities and tailored one to one support.
Nicola Graham, Reuben’s mummy and Founder of Reuben’s Retreat, shared: “We often say that every raindrop raises the sea, and what TIPTO has raised this year, and throughout the years, is a testament to that. Every penny counts and contributes directly to supporting our beneficiary families.
"We can never underestimate the geographical reach of TIPTO, its suppliers and members. You never know when a conversation, a connection or shared awareness might reach another heart in need, and for that too, we are deeply grateful.”
Vishal Patel, TIPTO Chairman, comments: “It truly is an honour to continue with our dedicated support of Reuben’s Retreat and the important care it provides for those families who have lost a child, or who live with children with medical complexities.
"We extend a huge thank you to our suppliers and, of course, our agent community, who never fail to support our fundraising efforts at events. It is because of their generosity that we can claim another record-breaking year. Reuben’s Retreat really is a charity close to TIPTO’s heart, and we are so pleased to have been able to support them over the last 14 years.”
