Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts announces the reopening on December 1 of two renovated properties: Bahia Principe Explore Costa Adeje, in Tenerife, and Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica, in Runaway Bay.
Both hotels are part of Bahia Principe Explore, the sub-brand designed for families and groups who want to enjoy their vacation. After around a year of renovation, both properties return with renewed rooms, common areas, dining, entertainment spaces, and a stronger connection to the local identity of each destination.
The reopenings reinforce a new chapter for Bahia Principe, with new positioning and a more premium offering. Explore is aimed at families and groups seeking relaxation, entertainment and local culture, while Escape is designed for adults looking for a relaxed and sophisticated stay.
The initiative is part of the 50% joint venture between Hyatt and Piñero, which manages the Bahia Principe resorts and owns the brand. Bahia Principe retains its identity, while Hyatt integrates the resorts into its Inclusive Collection, strengthening international reach.
“The reopening of these two hotels is a significant step for Bahia Principe, allowing us to bring two completely renovated assets back to our portfolio and strengthen our presence in Tenerife and Jamaica,” says Julio Pérez, CEO of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts.
Bahia Principe Explore Costa Adeje, inspired by Tenerife’s volcanic landscapes and Guanche heritage, will offer 471 rooms, 3 pools, including an infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic, 4 restaurants and a Kids Club, alongside games, crafts, live music and karaoke.
Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica reopens with 647 rooms, 3 pools and 7 restaurants. Inspired by the “Roots” concept, it will feature live music, beach parties, dance and sports activities, “Xaymaca The Show”, a Kids Club, waterpark, activities and Bahia Principe Village.
To celebrate both reopenings, Bahia Principe has launched a promotional campaign with discounts of up to 50%, inviting guests to discover the renewed Explore experience in two destinations with strong local identities.
