Intrepid Travel has unveiled over 80 new trips for 2027 across its Walking & Trekking, Cycling, Wildlife, Explorer, Expedition, Short Breaks, Family and 18-35s categories.
The new trips respond to growing demand for lesser-known destinations and closer-to-home travel experiences, with itineraries designed around different ages, interests and travel styles.
The new trips include over 50 new destinations, offering travellers new experiences while helping to spread the benefits of tourism across local communities.
Intrepid is also increasing its focus on destinations closer to home, responding to rising traveller interest in immersive experiences within their own region.
Five new destinations have been introduced across Europe including Imotski in Croatia, Scotland’s Aviemore, Picos de Europa in Spain and Norway’s Lyngen Alps. This comes as bookings for Intrepid’s European range grew +49% year-on-year between 2025 and 2026.
More broadly, the new trips for 2027 cater to a wider range of travellers, with the introduction of 15 new family trips and tailored itineraries for younger, more budget-conscious customers.
Active and nature-based travel also remain a core focus for Intrepid, with new walking and trekking trips in Spain and Sri Lanka, cycling adventures in New Zealand and Rwanda, and unique wildlife experiences across South Africa, Namibia and Kenya.
Joanna Reeve, UK & Ireland General Manager at Intrepid Travel, said: “Bookings into 2027 are strong and I’m excited that we have over 80 brand new trips with opportunities for customers to connect with local people, experience different cultures, and immerse themselves in nature through active itineraries and wildlife experiences.
"The trips explore a range of places all over the world including lesser-known destinations and those closer-to-home. With 22% of Brits saying that travelling closer to home is more important to them now than 12 months ago*, agents can choose from a range of fabulous new trips in places like Spain, Türkiye, Norway, Egypt, and Georgia."
