TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies

This special category celebrates stories of travel agents going to extraordinary lengths to look after their customers. In a year with so many agents having to go above and beyond to help repatriate clients and manage unprecedented situations, choosing just one winner from the many inspiring nominations was no easy task. However, judges felt that this particular agent had gone literally miles out of her way to help a client with what others may have seen as a trivial problem but meant a huge amount to one of the party in particular.

This special category celebrates travel agents and agencies who
 have shown extraordinary commitment to giving back 
to their local community and charitable causes. With immense pressures on agents themselves in the past year, it has been particularly impressive to see so many strive to help others as well. Despite an incredibly strong shortlist, judges wanted to recognise this particular agent, who looked beyond her own situation and took a personal approach to helping a struggling family affected by the downturn in tourism due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

First presented in 2019, this award gives genuine recognition to a member of the travel agency community who has inspired others through their leadership, demonstrated an innovative approach to doing business, or who has given outstanding commitment to their local community.

Presented by sponsor Holiday Extras, and judged in conjunction with the TTG team, the award went to Jacqueline Dobson, President, Barrhead Travel as she received an astonishing number of nominations this year.
