The nominees for the Travel Marketing Awards’ four individual categories, celebrating the industry’s best and brightest, have been revealed.
The awards, organised by CIM Travel Group in association with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, celebrate the individuals, teams, companies, agencies and firms setting the benchmark for quality travel marketing services.
Following the announcement last month of the awards’ agency and travel company nominees, the individual shortlist was unveiled on Friday (February 15).
Individual award categories include Agency Professional of the Year, In-House Marketer of the Year, Rising Star of Travel PR, and the TTG-sponsored Tomorrow’s Travel Marketing Leader award.
It is the third successive year TTG is sponsoring the Tomorrow’s Travel Marketing Leader award, which builds on TTG’s 30 Under 30 initiative and aims to recognise a young travel marketing professional tipped to become a travel marketing leader of the future.
Daniel Pearce, TTG Media chief executive and one of the judges, said: “Travel is one of the most dynamic, fast-paced sectors in business, and we take pride in encouraging young people to succeed in such a challenging – and rewarding – field.
“We are always impressed by the range and quality of entries in the Travel Marketing Awards, and 2019 is no exception. We look forward to toasting the success of every single candidate at this year’s awards – and hopefully setting a few young stars on a path to future success.”
CIM Travel Group chairman Keith Cartwright added: “Huge congratulations to all those who were shortlisted this year. The finalists showcased phenomenal talent, creativity and bravery.
“Taking place on March 11 at London Hilton on Park Lane, the awards night guarantees to be an inspiring and empowering event as we celebrate the finest talent that travel marketing has to offer. I very much look forward to seeing you all there.”
