As millions of passengers prepare to travel over the Christmas period, DiamondAir is offering an alternative to the traditional airport check-in process, allowing passengers to arrange airline check-in and baggage processing before reaching Heathrow, with luggage collected from their home, hotel or another location across London.
Heathrow recorded almost 7.2 million passengers in December 2025, its busiest December on record, according to Heathrow Airport’s published traffic figures in January 2026.* The scale of festive travel makes planning ahead particularly valuable for passengers looking to simplify the practicalities of getting to the airport.
DiamondAir’s Remote Check-In service takes one of the biggest hassles out of flying: checking in and dropping off luggage. Arranged directly with DiamondAir’s Concierge team, the service allows travellers to have their bags collected from home, the hotel they are staying in or The Lounge, with check-in and baggage processing handled ahead of departure, subject to airline requirements. That means less time spent managing suitcases and queuing at the terminal, and more freedom to get on with the day before heading on with their journey.
The service can be combined with DiamondAir’s private chauffeur transfers, available from pick-up points across London, and its Meet & Assist service at Heathrow. On arrival, passengers are met kerbside and accompanied through the terminal towards their departure gate, with DiamondAir’s Airport Concierge team coordinating the journey.
DiamondAir’s recently opened Lounge provides an off site space for passengers to relax before or after a flight, away from the main terminal. Overlooking the runway, it offers all day à la carte dining, a private bar and dedicated working areas, alongside showers, dressing rooms and pre-bookable treatments at KarmAir spa.
