APT & Travelmarvel is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) for The Midlands, residing in the region, spanning between Birmingham and Manchester, following the departure of Leiza Sullivan in April. The successful candidate will nurture agent relationships, drive sales, and introduce the operator’s latest cruise and touring innovations.
Under the leadership of the operator’s UK Head of Sales & Business Development Brad Bennetts, the transition will be seamless, ensuring continued support for trade partners. The new BDM will build on the excellent work already done by Leiza, spearheading a familiarisation campaign, preparing agents to capitalise on APT & Travelmarvel’s exciting new offerings for 2025.
These include:
- Travelmarvel’s MS Estrela – The brand-new ship launches its first full season on Portugal’s Douro River in April, offering a food and wine-focused itinerary.
- Small Ship Cruises – Travelmarvel operates its first small ship programme between April and October aboard Caledonian Sky, featuring 10 new European itineraries, exploring the hidden gems of Greece, Portugal, Italy, Spain, the Canary Islands and Istanbul.
- APT Small Group Journeys – Carefully curated experiences in South Africa, India, Sri Lanka, and Japan, designed for deeper exploration in groups of no more than 16.
- APT Ultra-Luxury River Ships – The new APT Ostara and APT Solara debut this summer, redefining luxury cruising on the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers.
Brad Bennetts commented: “I would like to thank Leiza for her incredible efforts, the passion she has brought to the role, and her outstanding contribution, which has been integral to the growth of our business in central England. We wish her every success for the future. To ensure we continue delivering the highest standard of support in the industry, we’re recruiting a salesperson to familiarise the trade with the exciting travel styles and ships launching this year.”
