Delta Air Lines is raising the bar for its onboard experience with a new wine programme launching across Delta One from 1 October 2026.
The new programme features 13 wines from 11 winery partners, with Napa Valley at its heart. The selection includes acclaimed names such as Silver Oak, Trefethen Family Vineyards, St. Supéry, Crossbarn by Paul Hobbs, Freemark Abbey and Patz & Hall, alongside a selection of global classics.
The programme has been developed in collaboration with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson, who has worked with Delta for more than two decades. For the first time, SkyMiles Members also had the opportunity to help shape the final selection, taking part in blind tastings to identify the wines they most enjoyed.
Wine selection was also carefully considered for the conditions of high-altitude travel, with cabin pressure and humidity affecting how aromas and flavours are perceived. Delta’s Sky Sommelier programme further supports its wine offering by training flight attendant leaders to provide knowledgeable and engaging service onboard.
Alongside the new wine programme, Champagne Taittinger - already served in International Delta One – will expand to all Delta One experiences, including domestic routes, from 1 October.
The new offering forms part of Delta’s continued investment in its premium onboard experience, with each wine selected to connect customers with the destinations, people and stories behind the bottle. For customers travelling from the UK to the US, the programme offers a taste of Napa Valley before they even reach their destination.
