Health kick
Emirates Holidays has added new five-star wellness resort The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel. It offers treatments and packages including detox and juicing and yoga and mindfulness.
Prices start from £679pp for three nights.
Water world
Marsa Ajman is Ajman’s new waterfront destination featuring restaurants, shops and waterside promenade the Ajman Marina, which can accommodate up to 300 people for activities and entertainment in an open-air area.
For all seasons
The Four Seasons Hotel Doha will reopen on 1 March after refreshing its bedrooms, suites and lobby.
There’s also new restaurant Elements, which joins the hotel’s Nobu Doha, and floating casual diner The Pier.

Fly and shop
Etihad Airways has added more offers to its Extraordinary Abu Dhabi Pass including 20% off luxury fashion retailers and 20% off stays at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi hotel.
The offers also include Yas Island hotels and Yas Marina restaurants.
Say spa
Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai has a new spa. Talise Spa is open every day from 9am to 9pm, with a menu offering everything from sports massages to cryotherapy (cold therapy).
Guests can also expect to find medi-spa products.
Look to the sky
Ras Al Khaimah has unveiled the Jais Adventure Peak, a collection of adventure attractions perched atop Jebel Jais.
The attractions include the Jebel Jais Flight, Jais Sky Tour (pictured) and Jebel Jais Viewing Deck Park.
Pool perfection
The La Quinta hotel brand has arrived in Istanbul. The newly opened 404-room La Quinta by Wyndham Istanbul Gunesli has three restaurants and a fitness centre with sauna, Turkish bath, hot tub, steam room and indoor pool.
Turtley cool
On Newmarket’s new Oman – A Desert Adventure tour (£1,599pp), clients will visit Muscat’s forts and castles, learn how dhow ships are made in the coastal city of Sur, and hear about turtle conservation in Ras Al Jinz.
Bau wow
Boutique hotel the Theodor has opened in Tel Aviv, with decor inspired by Bauhaus architecture.
The hotel is part of Brown Hotel group, which will also open Hotel BoBo and Deborah Brown in the city this year.
