The adults-only cruise line’s new “marvelous voyages” will coincide with an expected total eclipse on 12 August 2026.
The 12- and 15-night itineraries feature calls to Dublin, Glasgow and Reykjavik on Valiant Lady, and the Amalfi Coast, Majorca and Cannes on Scarlet Lady, with special onboard events and appearances.
In addition to the solar eclipse cruises, the line will operate six other sailings between March and August 2026, ranging from eight to 16 nights, spanning Iceland to Istanbul, the British Isles to The Baltics.
Virgin Voyages is also introducing 12 new ports, which include Salerno, Italy; Edinburgh, Stockholm, Hamburg, Oslo, Tangier and Greenland in the programme.
Chief operating officer Michelle Bentubo said: “We already sail to more than 100 international ports, but our itineraries are ever-evolving based on what our sailors [passengers] and travel partners are asking for.
“We’ve graduated from only offering short Caribbean escapes and weekender voyages to give our sailors longer itinerary options up to 14 nights at more ports around the world.
“Our ‘marvelous voyages’ paired with Brilliant Lady’s epic itineraries across all four corners of the US, just shows the growth and strength of this monumental brand and the choice we are committed to offering.”
Bookings go on general sale on 21 August and 18 September, while loyalty scheme members will have access to the cruises from 14 August.
