ITC said a series of changes to a number of senior roles aimed to strengthen the brand's relationships with the trade and sharpen its luxury proposition.
Bates, previously National Trade Partnership Manager, has been promoted to the role of Head of Trade Partnerships, reporting into Di Selby, who has taken up the role of Business Partnership Director.
He will continue to oversee Trade Partnership Executives Haley Powell and Suzanne Warren, who look after agents in the North and the South respectively.
Selby's new remit brings ITC's airline and trade partnerships together, with the business seeking to build "deeper and more commercially focused" relationships across both areas. She was previously Trade Partnership Director.
The restructure also sees Emily Rutter promoted to Head of Product. She will lead ITC's product team while retaining responsibility for the Indian Ocean, Middle East and Africa.
ITC said the changes, which include internal promotions, broader leadership responsibilities and people taking on expanded roles, would bring several functions together under a single leader, such as product and marketing and sales and operations, "to create a more connected business".
"As with any organisational change programme, there have also been some colleagues who have left the business through voluntary redundancy and, in a small number of cases, redundancy following consultation, alongside some natural attrition," an ITC spokesperson told TTG.
"The focus of the programme has been on simplifying the organisation, strengthening collaboration and creating a structure that better supports our clients, travel agent partners and suppliers, rather than reducing headcount."
The restructured team will report into Group Managing Director Lisa Smith, who said the changes were designed to put greater emphasis on the "expertise and personalisation" available to agents rather than simply increasing ITC's product offering.
"Luxury travel has never before offered more choice, but luxury has never been about offering the most – rather it's about knowing what matters most," she said. "ITC believes the future of luxury travel will be defined not by businesses that simply offer more, but by those that create greater value through expertise, trusted partnerships and genuinely personalised experiences."
Smith added the restructure would give agents "greater expertise, closer collaboration and a clearer proposition", while enabling ITC to develop "deeper relationships" and a stronger commercial focus with its airline, hotel and destination partners.
ITC also has a dedicated agency sales team solely focused on serving bookings from travel agents.
