The winners, from Premier Travel, Cruise Circle and Travel Village Group, walked away with the cash for their ideas ranging from content creation and local sponsorships to radio marketing.
All five of the agents who made it to a final will also receive £6,000 worth of marketing spend with Cruise Critic, which can be utilised on a range products including emails, display ads and more.
The competition sees consortia members across the UK and Ireland pitch their concepts to a panel of judges including entrepreneur and Reggae Reggae Sauce creator, Levi Roots, and Ben Bouldin, vice president EMEA at Royal Caribbean International, to win a portion of £200,000 total investment.
Stuart Byron, director of sales UK, Ireland and Spain, for Royal, said: "Myself and the other judges were thoroughly impressed by the unique and creative thinking shown by the finalists in this round.
"We’re looking forward to seeing the concepts come to fruition and the impact on their business growth over the next 12 months. After this round, I’m even more excited for the next to hear more ingenious ideas from our agents."
The next round of entries opened on Monday (3 October) and agents will have until 20 November to submit their proposals.
The third round of judging will take place on 6 December. To enter the competition, agents need to submit a video via the Club Royal website that details their creative business proposal and requested investment in under five minutes.
