In compliance with the Package Travel and Linked Arrangements Regulations 2018, Ambassador’s guests are financially protected by a Financial Failure Insurance policy, effective Thursday (29 September).
A spokesperson said: "Ambassador Cruise Line has put financial protection at the heart of its offering since its inception and will continue to pay consumer deposits and balance payments into an independently managed trust account."
Christian Verhounig, the line’s chief executive, said "the heart" of the line’s proposition is "one objective, to prioritise the guest".
"This extends far beyond the booking and onboard experience," he added. "We are delighted to announce that Ambassador is now an Abta member.
"Our comprehensive insurance scheme also means guests are reassuringly financially protected and can book with confidence and peace of mind."
