Barbados will now accept rapid antigen tests for entry administered by a healthcare provider no more than 24 hours prior to arrival.
BA is adding extra capacity to Barbados this summer
Also accepted are Covid-19 PCR tests taken no more than three days prior to arrival.
According to Visit Barbados, antigen tests are "widely available" in the UK and are usually returned within one hour.
However, self-administered swabs are not accepted, according to the changes which were implemented on Saturday (26 February).
Passengers will not be required to test in order to transit through Barbados.
