Disney Cruise Line will require children aged between five and 11 to be vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to sail from 13 January.

The vaccination requirement will still apply to guests aged 12 and over

Currently, the line requires all eligible guests to be fully inoculated against the virus, as defined by the US Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

"This will be a requirement for all guests (US and international) ages five and up for sailings beginning on or after 13 January, 2022", the company’s Covid protocols state.

Those under the age of five will be required to return a negative Covid test.

The line will accept the following vaccine types: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Covishield, Novavax, Sinopharm and Sinovac.
