It claimed that 1.7 million people are set to travel overseas during the school break while a total of 3.8 million are due to get away during the rest of 2021.
Spain reportedly tops the list of booked destinations, followed by France, Italy, Greece and Cyprus.
The operator’s annual Testing the Temperature report claimed that one in five (21%) Brits currently have a holiday abroad booked, with almost a quarter (24%) of those bookings made in September alone.
easyJet holidays reportedly found that almost three in 10 (28%) travellers feel more confident about travelling abroad following the removal of the amber list and pre-departure tests.
Beach holidays are reportedly the most sought-after type of holiday, with all-inclusive trips being the most popular holiday option according to the operator’s booking data.
Two in five (42%) Brits said they will be visiting "less crowded places" when travelling abroad compared to before the pandemic, while three in 10 (31%) will be looking to cut their impact on the environment.
Despite the uptick in bookings, the annual report also showed that consumers are still "apprehensive" about the protections in place if things go wrong.
More than three in five (62%) Brits are only willing to book a holiday abroad if they feel confident their money is protected, compared to 53% last year.
Financial worries top the list of concerns amongst holidaymakers, with 43% worried about losing money if they need to change their travel plans, up from 38% last year.
Almost half (48%) are concerned about not being able to get a refund if their holiday cannot go ahead, a 37% increase year-on-year.
Matt Callaghan, customer director for easyJet holidays, said the company has seen "even higher levels" of consumer confidence in bookings for holidays abroad for 2021 due to foreign travel "becoming a lot easier".
"Yet as holidays abroad return for the many, our research has shown that, following the pandemic, the way we holiday will never be the same again," he added.
