Eight countries were removed from the red list on Wednesday; three – Turkey, Kenya and Oman – have had their Covid-specific travel advice lifted by the FCDO. However, the authority continues to advise against travel to Egypt, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh on Covid grounds.
As a result, Tui has confirmed Maldives holidays due to depart up to and on 9 October will not operate, nor will its holidays to Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt until 16 October. Jamaica holidays are also off up to 16 October, and those to Marsa Alam in Egypt until 31 October.
Sri Lanka trips, meanwhile, are cancelled up to 21 October.
Tui confirmed to TTG on Thursday (23 September), though, that its Turkey programme would restart in early October.
