In May 2023, Borealis will sail from Liverpool on a 25-night Renaissance Italy, the Adriatic & Amalfi Coast itinerary, from £3,999pp. Calls include Cartagena, Livorno, Sorrento, Split, Croatia, Dubrovnik, Valletta and Malaga.
The following month, flagship Bolette will depart Newcastle for a 23-night Exploring the Arctic & White Sea cruise, from £3,799pp. This includes Norway, Iceland and the Faroe Islands and crosses the Arctic Circle.
Guests will experience the Midnight Sun, fjords, glaciers and mountainous landscapes in some of the most remote locations in Norway and Iceland.
Martin Lister, head of itinerary planning and destination experience, said: “These sailings are perfect for those looking to excite their inner explorer and have been hand-crafted to allow our guests to really immerse themselves in the culture and history of the destinations they are visiting.
“Borealis will be the perfect host for our Adriatic sailing, offering views of the breath-taking Amalfi coast, Capri and the Bay of Kotor that can only be seen from the water, while on shore there will be opportunities to discover the stunning architecture and the history and influence that helped shape it.
“Meanwhile, in the Arctic, guests can gain an insight into the local way of life, witness whales, puffins and birdlife in their natural habitat whilst taking in unspoilt scenery and the phenomenon that is the midnight sun.”
With both sailings, guests have a choice of £250pp to spend onboard or free door-to-door transfers up to 200 miles within mainland UK.
Fred Olsen’s full summer 2023 schedule will be released in mid-March.
