A retired fish and chip owner has celebrated chalking up 2,500 nights with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines over four decades.
Kevin Harrison from Wakefield in Yorkshire booked his first cruise with the line on the now-retired Black Prince ship in 1993. He always chooses the owner’s suite and often books back-to-back cruises.
Harrison is currently on a Caribbean cruise after which he will take a six-day break before joining the two-week Christmas Celebrations in the Canaries cruise over the festive period.
“I aim to have seven or eight cruises booked at any one time and I try to plan so I have plenty to look forward to,” he added.
To mark his 2,500th night on board, Harrison was treated to a surprise party attended by Fred Olsen crew who he describes as “my very good friends” during his recent Madeira cruise on Borealis.
