Passenger locator forms (PLFs) could be dropped in time for the Easter holidays, according to reports in the national press.

Latest data from hotel price comparison website Trivago shows UK travellers are seeking alternate travel plans in order to enjoy their holidays

The document, which travellers must fill out up to 72 hours prior to their arrival in the UK, is expected to be scrapped at a scheduled meeting of the government’s Covid operations committee next week.

Cabinet ministers are also thought to be considering a move to drop testing requirements for unvaccinated passengers.
