Intrepid Travel has paid tribute to one of its tour leaders, who was killed in the devastating earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria last week.
Intrepid tour leader Nazımcan Hartlap has been confirmed among those killed in the disaster
Chief executive James Thornton and managing director EMEA Zina Bencheikh confirmed Nazimcan Hartlap was among the more than 33,000 victims of last Monday’s disaster.
Thornton said he was "deeply saddened", adding: "My thoughts are with his family and our local team who are mourning the loss of a colleague and more so, a friend."
Intrepid last week launched its own fundraising effort to support relief efforts in south-eastern Turkey and northern Syria for people affected by the earthquakes.
