The airline and operator will put on extra flights to Madeira, Dalaman, Split and Dubrovnik, as well as several Greek islands – including Crete, Corfu, Mykonos and Kefalonia.
It is also upping frequencies on Manchester-Tenerife and Manchester-Alicante flights this spring, and its routes to Majorca, Ibiza, Santorini and Sardinia in the summer.
Jet2 said the expansion came in response to increased demand from customers looking to make up for lost time over the past two years and enjoy a getaway in the sun.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “With international travel starting to look like it did before the pandemic, we are seeing continued demand across the board from Manchester airport, as customers make the most of being able to travel on their well-deserved holidays once again.
“We have responded to that demand by adding additional capacity for Summer 2022 to a number of sunshine hotspots, giving customers and independent travel agents even more choice and flexibility.”
Additions include:
- Madeira – extra Monday service from 25 July to 19 September;
- Crete – extra Sunday service from 24 July to 25 September;
- Corfu – extra Thursday service from 21 July to 22 September;
- Mykonos – new Thursday service from 7 July to 1 September;
