The airline and package holiday operator said the move had been made in response to “strong demand” from customers in the north-west and would allow independent agents to book their clients’ breaks “well in advance”.
Jet2 will feature its "biggest-ever" winter sun programme across all eleven UK bases for 2024/25.
Jet2 will offer seven Spanish destinations as part of its programme – Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Alicante Malaga and Majorca – as well as Faro and Madeira in Portugal, the Turkish resort of Antalya, Paphos in Cyprus and Malta, recently added as a year-round destination.
The programme consists of around 70 departing weekly flights – including up to 37 weekly services to the Canaries from November 2024 to late March 2025.
Jet2 said it would be making further announcements for winter 24/25 “over the coming months”.
Boss Steve Heapy said the early release of the programme would allow customers to book in advance “and get the best choice of dates, rooms and resorts, as well spread the cost”.
“In addition to giving customers the chance to book their winter sunshine nice and early, the size and scale of our programme means we are offering fantastic choice and flexibility,” added Heapy.
“For this reason, we are confident that this new programme will prove extremely popular as people look to escape the cold and gloom of the UK in winter and chase the sunshine. We are looking ahead with real confidence and are very excited to be able to share further good news about our winter 24/25 programme from Manchester soon.”
