Despite two bumper years for domestic breaks, the coach specialist said people were only just beginning to scratch the surface of what’s on their doorsteps.
Leger, known for its European escorted coach holidays and battlefield tours, introduced a selection of UK tours during the pandemic to meet domestic holiday demand, but this has now ballooned to 38 in total.
Seven of the new additions for 2022 include accommodation at adults-only Warner Leisure hotels, with the expanded range catering for a broad spectrum of interests and budgets.
Breaks include visits to gardens and other sites of natural beauty, culture and heritage trips to castles and Royal properties, city tours exploring British history, rail experiences and coastal excursions.
Ashley Dellow, Leger Shearings Group head of retail sales, said: "The demand for UK holidays shows no signs of abating. During the pandemic, when we couldn’t travel overseas, people started to appreciate what was on their doorstep and realised there was so much to see.
"Leger Holidays has gone from having just a few UK tours in 2019 to 38 in the 2022 collection. Escorted coach tours with Leger Holidays are already a cut above and with options to choose to travel by luxury coach and stay in upgraded hotels it shows off the best of Britain in style and comfort.”
New tours include Discover the Lake District by Rail and Sail (five days from £499pp); Treasures of Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire (five days from £409pp); Historic Worcester and the Wye Valley at Warner Holme Lacy House (five days from £549pp); Maritime Bristol and the Dean Forest Railway (five days from £579pp); Tatton Park and Beautiful Chatsworth (five days from £539pp); and Uncover North Devon, Clovelly and RHS Rosemoor (five days from £559pp).
