A new Cuba travel brand is set to emerge from the collapse of Cuba Holidays.
Cuba Holidays parent, The Holiday Place, ceased trading at the end of May.
However, sales lead Alan Meadows is now set to launch Live Cuba to the trade “within the next few weeks”.
Posting to a new Live Cuba Facebook page, Meadows said: "Live Cuba is the trade brand of Live Holidays, a specialist operator to this stunning island for over 16 years, and is backed by an amazing team both here in the UK and in Cuba.
“Commercial negotiations are under way, our new brochure will be going to print shortly, and I look forward to working with you all again in the future. Thanks for all your support.”
The CAA confirmed The Holiday Place ceased trading on (29 May). Trading names included Cuba Holidays and Go Dominican Holidays, and the firm also operated a number of Experience brands covering Cuba, Cyprus, Kenya and Mexico.
The business was founded in 1981 as a Caribbean specialist before Cuba became its top destination from 1986.
Various businesses stepped in to assist clients following the collapse and offer employees a new beginning.
