Brits travelling to France next week have been warned to expect travel disruption after a number of unions in the country called strike action.

Cross-sector demonstrations are due to be held on Tuesday 7 February and again on Saturday 11 February, with the Foreign Office warning the action could start the night before and run until the morning after. "Localised or sector specific strikes could also occur outside these dates," said the FCDO.
"Industrial action may lead to disruption to services. Please check the latest advice with operators before travelling, avoid demonstrations and follow the advice of local authorities."
