The line’s booking figures in the first quarter of this year were 80% higher compared with the same period in 2019, and despite operating in what is still a "very unsettled market", the line said it is back to "robust" levels of business.
"This result not only reflects the recovery in confidence in the market, but to Ponant’s ability to stand out in its sector," explains Herve Bellaiche, the line’s chief sales, marketing and communications officer.
"While remaining vigilant about societal changes and able to transform ourselves when necessary, we are confident in our business model: small ships, respectful of the destinations visited and environmental issues, and an always better quality of service."
