Scoot appoints Discover the World as GSA in the UK

Low-cost carrier Scoot has appointed Discover the World as its general sales agent (GSA) for the UK and Ireland ahead of launching its first UK services.

Scoot will be operating 787 Dreamliner aircraft on the new Gatwick-Bangkok-Singapore route

Scoot, which is a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, last week announced plans to launch flights from Gatwick to Singapore, via Bangkok from 16 December.

Aiden Walsh, head of airline development at Discover the World, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Scoot to develop the sales and marketing strategy for the UK and Irish markets.
