The new scheme will initially be rolled out across Inspire’s Independent Travel Associates (ITAs) and later across its other sales channels. Both consumers and ITAs will be able to use the scheme free of charge.
Lisa Henning, managing director of Inspire Europe, said the new initiative comes in a bid to help bolster sales volumes and reduce cancellations.
"The main reason for launching the scheme is because customers said that it would be a major benefit, especially during the cost of living crisis," she continued.
"The other reason is that tour operators have been offering direct debit payment options for some time, and we feel strongly that agents shouldn’t be disadvantaged."
Henning also confirmed the group would no longer be offering customers £1 deposits as the company no longer feel it supports the industry or drives sales.
