The operator will run the extra flights from Manchester and Gatwick.
An extra weekly flight to Cancun from Gatwick will operate from 6 April and one from Manchester from 3 April. Tui will then be operating 17 flights per week to its top long-haul sun destination.
The Dominican Republic will see an extra weekly flight from Manchester to Punta Cana from 3 April, taking Tui’s weekly flight total to the destination to eight over Easter and into summer.
Tui said Turkey remained one of the most popular short-haul sun destinations. To meet demand, two extra weekly flights will run from Manchester to Antalya in April, bringing the flying programme to 13 weekly flights over Easter. This will further ramp up with 22 weekly flights in May and 47 in June.
Richard Sofer, Tui’s commercial and business development director, said: “We’re seeing strong demand for family packages this Easter. There has been a general uptick for long-haul across the year and Easter bookings for Mexico and Dominican Republic are back to pre-Covid levels.
“Destinations nearer home are also looking positive as easier entry for teenagers and some great value offers, particularly in Turkey, unleash pent up demand. These additions mean customers can now choose from over 870 flights to 35 destinations this Easter.”
Tui’s top-selling destinations this Easter are Tenerife, Egypt, Cancun, Dominican Republic, Lanzarote and Turkey.
