Vazquez, who joined Tui as a trading assistant more than 25 years ago, will remain in her role as director of customer sales and service Tui UK&I until the end of June.
She is credited with leading Tui’s retail team through the pandemic and setting up its now 200-strong homeworking division. "Belinda has been an integral part of Tui for more than two decades," said the brand.
Bart Quinton Smith, Tui UK&I’s director of marketing and sales, said: “Belinda has been a driving force at Tui throughout her tenure and has made a positive impact on everyone she has worked with from colleagues to agents.
“Her passion and tenacity will be missed by everyone at Tui and we wish her the very best for her future endeavours.”
During her long spell with the business, Vazquez has held various positions and leadership roles across commercial, purchasing, aviation, sales and distribution.
She became director of Ireland and ancillaries in 2017 before taking on the role of retail director in 2021. She was promoted to her current role in 2021, overseeing Tui’s retail estate, contact centre, operations and crisis, and property and facilities.
