The airline announced on Thursday (21 December) it will increase services to Barbados to twice a day from Heathrow and four times a week from Manchester starting 27 October 2024. Seasonal flights to Dubai and the Maldives, meanwhile, will operate daily starting from 26 October and 27 October respectively.
Virgin’s tour operating arm – Virgin Atlantic Holidays – has also put holiday packages on sale; seven-night stays in Dubai lead in from £1,140pp, with seven-night Maldives stays starting from £2,384pp and Barbados £3,546pp.
“We’re excited to be whisking our customers away on more sunny breaks than ever next year, thanks to our expanding leisure portfolio,” said Virgin Atlantic chief commercial office Juha Jarvinen.
It comes as the airline announced last week the expansion of its US network with seven daily services between Heathrow and JFK starting next summer as well as twice daily flights to Boston.
