Business Development Manager Lewis Cooper has been promoted to a newly created head of distribution post.

Cooper, who joined Solmar in 2024, will work across all distribution channels, including trade. He will also support sales via wholesalers, OTAs and other partners.

Solmar has also created another new role, an executive position, in its sales and distribution team, for which recruitment is under way.

Cooper said he was excited to take on a new role and to build on his experience in key accounts. "My focus is on strengthening trade, wholesale and OTA partnerships, and ensuring our agent partners have the tools, service and support they need to grow with us.”

James Howlett, Solmar's Sales and Distribution Director, who joined the villa specialist earlier this year, added: “Lewis’s appointment reflects our continued investment in the travel trade and the vital role it plays in our future growth.
