ATC personnel represented by France's SNCTA union had been due to walk out over 18-19 September in a dispute over working practices.
However, this action has since been pushed back to 7-9 October after France's government collapsed last week.
There remains a threat of travel disruption, though, owing to a second general strike in France in as many weeks.
Workers across various sectors and industries will strike on Thursday (18 September) after recent action on 10 September.
France's airspace is among the world's busiest, with many ex-UK and Irish services required to overfly the country.
The strikes will precede by just a couple of days the target launch date for the EU's new biometric border rules on Sunday 12 October.
