Sarah Hillier joins as business development manager south, while Janine Sykes will look after agents in the north in a like role. The pair will work across Globus's tour operator and river cruise brands – Avalon Waterways, Globus Journeys and Cosmos Tours.
Together, Hillier and Sykes share more than 60 years' industry experience; Hillier joins from Olympic Holidays, and has previously worked for Belleair Holidays, USAirtours and MSC Cruises.
Sykes, meanwhile, has held senior business development positions with rail operator LNER, Sandals Resorts and CroisiEurope Cruises, and brings experience driving growth through agents in Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man, as well as in the north.
They will work under Phil Shipman, Globus's UK sales director, and alongside key account managers Jayne Lambert and Kelly Calver, as well as Sarah Makewell in inside sales support.
Shipman said Hillier and Sykes's remit would be to put all the support and tools agents need to confidently sell the group's touring and river cruise product at agents' disposal.
"We are totally committed to the travel trade, which makes up a huge proportion of our UK sales," said Shipman. "These two new hires and the great relationships they already have will take this one step further."
Lesley Taylor, Globus's UK managing director, added: "We are excited to announce the new members of our travel trade team and proud of the range of experience and relationships they bring. 2025 and looking into 2026 is an incredibly significant time for the Globus family of brands with new itineraries and exciting initiatives in the pipeline."
