Ashley Walker, who joins the G Touring sister brands from Riviera Travel, will also take responsibility for driving process improvements that reduce administrative burdens for the sales team, allowing them to spend more time visiting agents and developing relationships.
He will be based at G Touring's head office in Market Harborough and will report into Trade Sales Director Tom Morgan.
Walker has worked in the travel industry for the past decade, working his way up through the ranks at Riviera from Travel Consultant to Business Development Executive and latterly Senior Trade Support Executive.
The appointment grows Travelsphere and Just You's UK trade team to seven.
Morgan said: “Ashley brings a wealth of trade experience to the position and will play a pivotal role in boosting our efficiency and helping our sales team spend more time supporting our agent partners.
