Bebe’s Hive was founded by Kuoni Training Executive Lauren King in memory of her daughter, Bebe, who tragically died in the summer 2024 Southport attack on a children's dance class.
The TTG Media team voted to support Bebe’s Hive after Lauren spoke about her daughter and the important work Bebe’s Hive is doing in the community.
Bebe’s Hive will provide grief-informed, creative support for bereaved children and families. With premises in Southport, it will offer play, craft, music, and drama workshops alongside trained therapists.
The TTG Media team have now raised £33,049 for the community interest company thanks in no small part to the generous support of the travel industry.
Valuable funds were raised with a series of raffles at the TTG Luxury Travel Awards in March, TTG Top 50 Travel Agencies Awards in April, the Travel Industry Awards in September and, most recently, Top 20 Luxury Travel Agencies in October.
The TTG team have also created handmade items to sell at events, in honour of the crafts that will take place at Bebe’s Hive.
Guests at the Fairer Travel Event in June bought personalised bracelets – which Lauren's Kuoni colleagues helped make – while those attending Black Book in October ordered bespoke gemstone keyrings.
The team also hosted a quiz in March, attended by supporters from across the industry.
Lauren said: “We are absolutely blown away by the incredible £33,049 raised for Bebe’s Hive. Since March, the time, effort and dedication that has gone into organising so many wonderful events has been extraordinary.
"But it goes far beyond the money raised. The kindness, warmth and genuine support shown to us and our volunteers throughout has meant so much. To have people who truly believe in what we are trying to achieve is incredibly special.
"This amazing amount will make such a difference to the children we will support, and everyone involved has played a huge part in helping us bring Bebe’s legacy to life. We cannot thank them enough.”
TTG Media CEO Daniel Pearce added: "The whole TTG Media team have got behind the campaign for Bebe's Hive this year, and we're proud to have put fundraising for the initiative central to all of our events in 2026.
"We look forward to watching the service go from strength to strength in the months and years ahead, and will continue to support it from afar."
If you would like to make a direct donation, TTG Media’s GoFundMe page for Bebe's Hive is still open.
