Carly Graham joins Tui's trade team as Key Account Manager, tasked with increasing support for agents in Tui's "commercially important" Gatwick catchment area through enhanced support and training.
Graham has worked in Tui's Staines superstore for the past 20 years, most recently as Senior Retail Manager. Her new Key Account Manager position is a brand-new role for Tui.
Alicia Houlihan, meanwhile, joins Tui's trade team from Marella as Key Account Support Specialist. Prior to joining Marella, Houlihan worked in Tui's Bury store in Greater Manchester.
Her appointment means Tui now has five dedicated Key Account Support Specialists, providing agents with day-to-day support and bringing strong knowledge and experience of Tui and what agents need.
Tui is also strengthening Marella Cruises' support for agents, with recruitment under way for a new Trade Training Manager after Sarah Whitehouse took up a new People Development Manager position within Tui.
The Trade Training Manager role will lead the Marella Cruises training and engagement strategy, helping agents feel knowledgeable and confident with the Marella Cruises proposition.
Recruitment has also opened for a newly created Marella Cruises Key Account Manager role, the first dedicated field-based position focusing exclusively on engaging frontline travel agents for Tui's cruise brand. The role will support agents across the UK, with a particular focus on the north to reflect the geographical distribution of key partners.
Together, Tui said the appointments underlined its "ongoing commitment" to supporting trade partners through dedicated account management, training, product knowledge and commercial support.
Jill Cunningham, Tui UK Director Retail, Omnichannel and Third Party Sales, said: "Our trade partners play a vital role in our success, so it's important that we continue to invest in the support, expertise and relationships that help agents grow their businesses with Tui. We're delighted to welcome Carly and Alicia to the team, while also creating additional opportunities across both our trade and Marella Cruises functions."
She added: "These appointments and new roles will help us provide even greater support to agents across the UK and ensure we're well placed to meet growing demand from our partners."
